We take the protection of your personal data very seriously and treat your data in strict confidence and in accordance with the relevant statutory regulations. Personal data are all data with which you can be personally identified. In addition, we refer to the TAG Terms of Use, which contain further regulations on the use of websites.

2. In what way are my personal data processed via the company's website?

a) If you use the website for information purposes only, i.e. if you do not log in, register or otherwise provide us with information, we do not collect any personal data, with the exception of the data that your browser transmits to enable you to visit the website. The data in question include the date and time of access, the IP address, Internet service provider, browser type and version, the URL of the referring website and websites accessed. These server logfiles are stored separately from other data and cannot be assigned to a certain person. No consolidation of such data takes place with other data sources.

b) These data collected via a web interface are intended to enable visitors to the homepage to ensure error-free availability of the website and to improve the latter. These data are processed for the technical administration of the website, to analyse your user behaviour and to initiate and implement pre-contractual measures and are thus based on Article 6 (1) sentence 1 letters b) and f) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

c) These data collected via a web interface are transmitted exclusively via encrypted connections. If you use the contact form offered by us for a request or to establish contact, this system uses SSL and/or TLS encryption for security reasons and to safeguard the transmission of confidential content, which you can recognise by the fact that the address line of your browser changes from “http://” to “https://” and by the padlock symbol in your browser line. 3. What are cookies and are they used on the websites?

c) Google Adwords and Google Conversion-Tracking

This website uses Google AdWords; Adwords is an online advertising program of Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, United States (“Google”)

In the context of Google AdWords, we use what is known as conversion tracking. When you click on an ad placed by Google, a cookie is set for conversion tracking. f) Vimeo

Our website uses plugins of the video portal Vimeo; the provider is Vimeo Inc., 555 West 18th Street, New York, New York 10011, USA.

When you visit one of our pages equipped with a Vimeo plugin, a connection will be established to the Vimeo servers. In the process, the Vimeo server is informed which of pages you have visited. In addition, Vimeo will obtain your IP address. This will also be the case if you are not logged into Vimeo or do not have an account with Vimeo. The information collected by Vimeo is transmitted to the Vimeo server in the USA.

When you are logged into your Vimeo account, you allow Vimeo to associate your surfing behavior directly with your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of to your Vimeo account.

5. What rights do I have as a visitor to the homepage?

Each data subject has the right to information pursuant to Article 15 GDPR, the right to rectification in accordance with Article 16 GDPR, the right to erasure according to Article 17 GDPR, the right to limitation of processing under Article 18 GDPR, the right to objection arising from Article 21 GDPR as well as the right to data portability based on Article 20 GDPR. As regards the right to information and the right to erasure, the restrictions of Sections 34 and 35 of the [German] Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) apply to the extent that personal data have been stored separately on TAG’s servers. This means that the right to erasure applies to the limitation of processing of personal data since TAG is obliged to secure its automated data processing security systems (backups) and erasure in these systems would involve unreasonable disproportionate effort. Finally, the data subject has a right to complain to a competent data protection supervisory authority (Article 77 GDPR, read in conjunction with Section 3 BDSG).

You may revoke your consent to the processing of personal data by contacting us at any time. This also applies to the revocation of declarations of consent given prior to the validity of the GDPR, i.e. before 25 May 2018. Please note that such revocation will only take effect for the future. Processing that took place before revocation is not affected by this.

6. Are my data passed on to third parties or to a third country and, if so, on what basis will this take place?

Your personal data will not be passed on to any third parties, with the exception of the anonymised IP address and the use of the website service providers as described here, and your personal data will not be passed on outside the EU.

If the IP addresses are passed on to third parties in anonymised form, TAG has entered into data processing agreements to the extent required. Only after you have contacted us via the contact form will your personal data continue to be recorded and processed/distributed within the Group. You agreed to this before opening the contact form.

7. Other notes

As a rule, no further transmission of personal data takes place to countries outside the EEA (European Economic Area) or to an international organisation. Within the scope of remote maintenance of standard IT components, it cannot be ruled out that an IT service provider from a third country (e.g. USA) may in rare cases have controlled and limited access to personal data in order to rectify any errors.

The personal data of the data subject will be erased or blocked as soon as the purpose of storage no longer applies. Moreover, data may be stored if this has been provided for by European or national legislation or other regulations required to be observed by the controller. The data will be blocked or erased also if a storage period prescribed by the above-mentioned standards expires, unless there is a need for further storage of the data for the conclusion of, or performance under, a contract.
